Our Equipment Hire Service

We are happy to hire equipment to you for your in-water adventures when not aboard our dive vessel.

To ensure availability on our courses and dive trips, book in early when you wish to hire equipment from the store, or we cannot guarantee availability.

Hire Timeframe:

All hire is per day away from Go Dive. Pickup Monday requires return Tuesday for single day rate.
Special deals for weekend – Pickup Friday – Return Monday is only 2-day hire (we are closed Sunday)

Process: Contact Go Dive with your request. at least 24-48hours in advance. To reserve your equipment, we require:

50% of hire fee paid

We will email you your rental booking ~ which will require your signature when picking up equipment.

When collecting equipment, we require to keep on file:

Copy of your Drivers Licence/Positive ID with address
Signed copy of rental agreement
Credit Card details as surety/guarantee/safety deposit
(For Scuba Tanks, BCD’s & Regulators - Copy of Divers Qualification)

We will also then take balance of hire payment.

Please read the rental agreement: which you receive via email after making your booking.

We have needed to implement care procedures & fees due to equipment being treated badly and in poor condition when returned to us.

We strive to give you great gear in good condition and hope to be able to continue this service. Equipment is to be returned to us in clean condition. We can then ensure our follow-up sanitizing of the equipment is effective.

Please use the provided wash solution to clean: (best in the order below to keep your wash water clean!)

Regulators – DUST CAP MUST BE IN PLACE before washing
BCD – Washed
Mask & Snorkel - Washed
Wetsuits – Washed & turned the right way out
Boots – Washed (last please)

Freshwater Rinse:

Weights – Please ensure 7 x 3lb weights are in place as per when hired
Tanks & Valve – External Rinse – Valve cap off to indicate cylinder has been used

With these measures in place, we can look forward to our equipment continuing to be available to hire in the future.
