ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER PLATINUM - PERSONALIZED Take the next step - PADI Advanced Open Water Platinum

The Platinum PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course with SubmersibleHuman

Expand your skill set, experience & confidence on your own timeframe!

This Advanced program is designed for buddy pairs, although can also be completed in a One-on-One format.  For Open Water & Advanced training, I only teach personalized courses with 1 or maximum 2 students (special buddy pair request) at a time, ensuring divers have all the time needed to practice and  develop diving skills vital to your safe diving in different locations, aboard different boats and physical methods all offered here in the Great South East.

The PADI Advanced Open Water course is a full certification course allowing you to scuba dive independently of an instructor or divemaster to a maximum recommended  depth of 30m. OIts also opens your oppertunities for further, more technical courses such as the Deep and Wreck Diver Programs.

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is a performance-based course and can be broken down to two components:

Knowledge Development

The course begins when you receive your course study manual, and you can begin reading. The manual actually segments more Elective Dives than you will be performing, which you are welcome to peruse, however it is important that you complete the reading of 'Thinking like a Diver' and the 5-6 Dive sections assigned by your instructor. An evening prior to our first double dives we will meet for a theory session to review the information you have completed at the training room at GoDive Brisbane.

The Learning Materials You Will Use

PADI offers a variety of home-study materials for the Advanced Open Water Diver course - this program utilizes the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Manual which is divided into many different sections covering introductory information in different aspects for Scuba. You will be required to complete 'Thinking like a Diver' which reintroduces the vital parts of becoming a diver you learned in your Open Water Diver course. After this, you will also complete five new areas of scubadiving, terminology and safety procedures. For each concept you'll read a description, and complete a Knowledge Review covering the major concepts you need to understand.

As you are one of a maximum two students, there is plenty of time underwater to enjoy the sights, ask questions and get the feel ‘being a diver’ rather than waiting your turn to perform.
